Comic-con the Items.

Faster than a speeding finger, more powerful than a 3G network… you’re probably wondering what items we’ll unlock via the next 46 days of tapping.

You’ve already seen the rewards in a previous post, but there are several items that will help generate unlocking tools, like cans, pizza slices, comics, nails, and fruity beverages. I’m guessing you need these to unlock characters and what not. 100,000 buzz cans is a alot, but after people not unlocking everything in the Moon Idols questline, i hope they will make the 100,000 prize attainable, cause you know i want George Takei… oh myyyyy.

Here’s the new tools/characters in the build menu.

Items 1Items 2Items 3Items 4Items 5Items 6

Lots of things to buy, little dissapointed that it will take like 40 bucks in clams to get almost all of this stuff. But i suppose i’ll buy something to help create Buzz cans, but the one costs 200 clams and drops 25 cans in 4hrs and the other 100 every 6hrs, but that costs 400 clams… a bit overpriced in my opinion. But i guess it might just be better to see the pace of can collection. I want everything but i spent 20 bucks on the Moon Idol update and not sure i want to do that again.

Tap hard and Prosper.

  1. The Chutes and Lads & hardware store now cost 50 clams. In the picture above they cost 25 clams. I’ve asked tiny co why, hopefully they answer me soon & I can update the reason.

  2. Love your site! Thank you so much for all the amazing info & tips. You’ve quickly become my first choice go to for anything Family Guy TQFS related.
Would love some advice for this event. So far I’ve restored the Clamterprise. On the list of tasks what should I focus on & in what order (specifically for Blam! Energy):
Unlocking Patrick Stewart [1000 B!] (Tea. Earl Grey. Hot Quest Pt.1),
    Upgrading Motel [350 B!] (Quahog Comic-Con Quest Pt.4),
Building Furry Dungeon [500 B!] (My Little Furry Quest Pt.2),
Repairing Convention Center [1000 B!] (no quest prompt yet)
Or any other character/building I’m leaving out.
Also still working at unlocking Stewie (need: 22 Blueprints + 7 Plutonium) & Carter (need: 4 Sugar + 7 Jewels).
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

    1. My advice would be to work on upgrading the Motel which is Pt. 4 of the Quahog Comic-Con quest line. My reasoning for this is because once you do – the Motel will become a new building called Q… AND… when you get to Pt. 6 of the Quahog Comic-Con quest line – you get prompted to collect and unlock Peter’s new costume: Captain Hammered! Make sure you save some Blam! as you will need 500 Blam! to unlock Captain Hammered as well as 6 Kamikaze Cocktails and 8 Nails. If you are a premium player – it would only be advisable to buy the Chutes and Lads building and the A’Buncha Tools building once you have been told to create Captain Hammered costume as otherwise no items will drop from these buildings (so no head start!).

Thank you so much! I’m pleased to hear that you are such a dedicated fan 🙂 and I am very glad that you like this site THAT much – that you only come here! 🙂

I hope I read you question correctly and answered helpfully! If not, fire some more questions at me! 🙂

      1. Thanks for the quick & detailed reply! Exactly the info I was looking for. No new premium characters or buildings yet (bought some clams initially but used them up on workers and blew the rest on the moon idol event). Even though I know I’ll be sticking with the game long term, after spending way too much on Tapped Out & Covet this year, I decided no more in app purchases for the next 2 months (well that’s the goal…). Already know I’m going to go all out for the Halloween events (my fav holiday, just can’t resist). But I’m starting to have a feeling I might end up giving in with this new event. Really impressed so far with all the updates they keep rolling out, so I might break my 2 month rule to show the developers a little support. I do agree that the prices seem a bit over exaggerated though.

  4. I really think this is a fun event and it’s long enough to give us time to get much accomplished. However, I had set the in-app purchases block on my phone and had my husband pick a passcode because I don’t want to know it. I was so tired of getting caught up in the novelty and spending real money on this game. $1.99 here and there wasn’t hurting me but when I clicked on a $19.99 option I knew I had a problem. At least when one gambles, they have a chance to win it back but with this game… It’s just throwing money away. I enjoy playing so I didn’t delete it but seriously… Why do most of these new features require so much money? It has taken me 30 days to collect 15 clams since going from premium to freemium… 200 clams for a car that doesn’t even move? Get real… pLace was the last thing I purchased with my real money so I could build a nightclub district but it ends there. TinyCo… Give some of us a chance to get clams. Please give us an option to purchase clams with coins we collect!?

  5. I wish more characters were able to collect cans other than the 4/5 there is. Plus, it seems the easiest way to get cans is by using Peter do the one minute task, seeming it drops 1 per minute, while the hour tasks only drops 2 per hour.

Luckily, all the long tasks I had going are going to end in an hour or so, so hopefully I can get all characters that are available to collect cans to get collecting!

Also, damn, it’s been 5 days and I’ve still yet to get an Eyeball from doing Dr. Hartman’s tasks constantly! Only need one to unlock Anime Peter but it seems this game is determined to not let that happen haha!

    1. Took me almost 3 weeks to get the last eyeball for Anime Peter to unlock Trisha Takinawa. Trisha Takinawa’s character is boring and not worth all of the frustration in my opinion. However, she is required to conquer Asiantown… Sigh.
