Lots of events and content updates have been bombarding us all lately, so there must be something that has ground your gears to dust at some point!
The Death at the Drive-In update has been live for a few weeks now, has there been anything in particular that has almost made you tap that uninstall button?!
We would really like to hear what was grinding your gears – Whatever it is, we would love to hear what has been grinding your gears in the last week!

Changing popcorn, cola and chocolates to movie rolls.
Now I have plenty of cola and popcorn and no chocolates. But still only available option is 12 chocolates to 5 film rolls.

What Grinds my gears? Timed characters in a timed event. The characters are already timed, so why put another time limit on them? The only explanation I can come up with is cashgrab.
You know what else, the trade rates at the concession stand always changing and even disappearing and reappearing in the case of popcorn. When an event is confusing enough, why make even more random occurrences with no explanation? This one really makes no sense.

what I really hate is the repetitiveness. It feels like for a week now I’ve been assigning the exact same tasks to the exact same characters nearly at the exact same time of day.. I started playing just a few months back so a lot of things were new and I loved the idea of expanding the town, earning for new buildings, but now all I’m doing is making one characters earn cannon balls to free up other characters that are supposed to earn me stuff for unlocking new items but their stuff is so rear my progress has become.. well.. non-existent.. I wouldn’t mind slow progress – but I’m completely stuck at this point.. It’s like I need these events to stop for number of months so I could have any chance of enjoying them having caught up with other players, but it’s kind of like – if you join the game late, it’s you loss, you’re not getting anywhere..

The slasher cat fiasco almost made me quit. I’ve been faithfully playing for premium 18 months, going all the way back to the King Butt event, and this situation has about pushed me over the edge.

Help! Can anyone help me? I have over 200 popcorn but the option to trade it in at the concession stand is no longer available.

Minor grinding of gears…I agree with your graphic above of “Crashing”. Although my crashing may not be nearly as bad as some, my game still does crash, always when I use the Consuela collect all button. What a great added feature of the game that never seems to work.

Timers, as if unlocking stuff wasn’t hard enough, they add timers 👏👏👏

one word : timers
seriously – 24hours to unlock a charachter or skin when the unit of currency to purchase it is poor at best. The only timers should be for the 24hr tasks (weekly extra). there shouldn’t even be a 7-day timer on characters. I missed out on Slasher Cat as it was timed and i could not spend popcorn because the currency changed to soda. No was was I going to spend 1,300 clams when normal characters don’t even cost that. Had there been an option to use popcorn / currency / soda towards the cost to reduce it – then maybe – but only if it cost the same as a normal character (around the 250 clam area)
I messaged Tiny (in game) and just got a stupid automated response. Not the first time either & i keep saying they are driving people away from the game.
The clams should be for those that wsnt to complete things quickly whilst freemium players take longer. I’ve been playing since the beginning and seen this game move towards clams being a requirement to get anywhere. I hope the Slasher Cat comes back (as some characters have) as now it’s the only character / skin im missing.. grrr :@
FGTQFS is becoming more a chore and the fun element is gone because of this… im actually starting to play TSTO now 🙂
